How we handle your details

Korbel builds construction-intelligence software. This policy covers the personal details you share with us through this website, mainly our "Talk to us" contact form. It is written to be plain and short, because our use of your data is plain and short.
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form, and a little technical information needed to run the site:
- Contact details you give us: your work email, and, if you continue, your name and phone number.
- A session identifier stored in your own browser, so the email you enter and the name and phone you add afterward are linked to the same enquiry.
- Basic server records created automatically when you submit the form, such as the time of submission and which page you submitted from.
We do not run accounts, take payments, or use advertising or tracking cookies on this site. For traffic statistics we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service that sets no cookies and counts visits without identifying or tracking you.
Why we use it
To reply to you and arrange a call about Korbel, and to keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up. That is the only purpose. We rely on your consent when you submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to businesses that ask to speak with us.
Who can see it
Your details stay with Korbel. We do not sell them or share them for marketing. We use a small number of service providers strictly to operate the site and contact you, including Microsoft 365 for email and our website hosting provider; they process the data only on our instructions. Some front-end code on this site is loaded from a third-party content delivery network, which may see standard technical request information but not your form details.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to be in touch and, if we start working together, for our ongoing relationship. If nothing comes of it, we remove it. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to us contacting you. Email hello@korbel.ai and we will take care of it. If you are in a region with data-protection laws such as the GDPR, you also have the right to complain to your local regulator.
Children
This site is meant for people working in construction and real estate. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date above.
